Quality is our highest priority at Secrète Fine Jewelry. We offer lifetime inspection and cleaning services on all jewelry made in our workshop. Most of our jewelry is also covered under a 2 year limited warranty. For more information about the warranty terms, reach out to us and we’d be happy to go over any questions you might have.

No worries! With surprise engagements, it’s common to need to adjust the size a little. For most rings purchased at Secrète, if you have it resized within six months of purchase, the first resizing is free. Eternity-style (with diamonds or gemstones all the way around) or for rings with complex engravings purchased from Secrète can be resized at cost within the first six months after purchase.

Secrète Fine Jewelry recommends insuring your jewelry to protect your investment. We have been working with major insurance companies for decades through our appraisal services, and we’re happy to share our insurance experience with you. Our expert team can advise you about insurance options such as adding jewelry as a rider on an existing policy or purchasing a separate jewelry insurance policy. We’ll make sure you have all the paperwork you need from us (appraisals, receipts, certificates, etc) to make covering your jewelry investment as easy as possible for you.

Our in-house watchmaker thoroughly inspects all our pre-owned watches before we acquire them for sale, inspecting for both functionality and authenticity. The importance of having an expert look inside the mechanism of a watch cannot be overstressed; the watchmaker flags any potential issues and rejects any watches that do not meet our rigorous standards of authenticity. All of our watches are guaranteed for authenticity.

Yes! Before our pre-owned and vintage watches make it to the showcase, they’re inspected by our in-house watchmaker, who services them if needed. Depending on the watch, we offer either a one-year or two-year warranty for our pre-owned watches, guaranteed for authenticity and accuracy. Should your watch need a little work within the warranty period, our watchmaker will get it back into good working order for you at no cost. Any of our sales associates will be happy to go over the terms of the warranty with you if you have any questions. Because we’re a brick-and-mortar establishment with over 30 years of experience and with expert craftsmen on staff, you can feel confident in your purchase.

Merchandise may be returned for a full refund within one week of purchase when accompanied by a receipt. Discounted, sale-priced, or special-order items cannot be returned. After one week, merchandise can be returned for a store credit within one month of the original purchase date. Custom work orders (including depositions for custom work or special orders) cannot be refunded. Merchandise that has been purchased with minor alterations (such as ring resizing) may be returned within one week for store credit, less cost of alterations.

Absolutely! We can repair, engrave or appraise any piece of jewelry or watch, whether you purchased it from us or not.

As a local business with a local workshop, we keep your repairs in house, so there’s no need to worry. For the vast majority of work, your pieces will stay safe in our possession from the time that you drop them off until you pick them up. On very rare occasions, a job may require expertise only found outside our local area; when this is the case, we will consult with you beforehand, and only ship with our fully insured secure shipping process once we have your permission.

Yes, as part of our commitment to the quality of our diamonds, Secrète Fine Jewelry allows you to upgrade your original Secrète Fine Jewelry diamond engagement ring at any time. You can trade in your ring for credit which can be used toward the purchase of a new, upgraded Secrète Fine Jewelry engagement ring.
